Enrollment
Saint James School-Age Program is open to all children between the ages of five through twelve years old. The program is non-denominational and chil+dren of all races, religion, color, national and ethnic origin are welcome. Register by submitting an application form with a $50 registration fee. Applications are available at the school office. As space becomes available, applicants are accepted following an interview between child, parent and Director. It will be determined at that time if the child is ready to benefit from our school experience.
Organization
Saint James Christian School-Age Program, as one aspect of parish education ministry at Saint James Lutheran Church, is a non-profit, tax exempt organization. It is licensed by the Department of Social Services. There is an advisory committee composed of parents, teachers, and church members. The school is non-denominational.
Transportation
Transportation to and from school will be provided by a van from our center, driven by one of our trained staff members. Each school will have a designated area where children will be dropped off and picked up daily.
Nutrition
A nutritious morning and afternoon snack will be provided. Parents will provide a healthy lunch, free from high sugar foods. For those who arrive before 7:30 am, a daily breakfast will be served.
Hours of Operation
We open at 7:00 am and close at 6:00 pm. We are open year round with the exception of major holidays and teacher work days. Work days are announced at the beginning of the school year.
